HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Today Jim, Jim, and I ventured out on our own for a while.  First stop was lunch at one of our favorites….  Five Guys Burgers and Fries!

After a delicious lunch, we headed for the Pier at Garden City Beach located just south of Myrtle Beach.

There were a lot of birds on the pier waiting for snacks.

There were quite a few fisherman too…

unfortunately for the fish!

Some pelicans flew by while we were at the end of the pier.

Down in the water at the end of the pier were several jelly fish.  If you look closely, you can kind of see them in the water.

Later in the afternoon everyone…

Before the group photo, we had some “big chair” fun.

I think we all had a lot of fun with the chairs!

After the group photo, everyone headed back to the campground.  I started building a campfire…

while Howard, Linda, Laurie, and Dee started getting ready for the evening meal.

Once his initial duties with the meal prep were complete, Howard helped me get the fire going.

Tonight’s meal was a Low Country Boil prepared by Linda (and helpers) that was excellent.  There was corn, potatoes, onions, sausage, and shrimp.

Everything tasted delicious as proven by the photo below… there sure wasn’t much left!
