Deer Run RV Park
We’ve been here now for about three and a half months. The time seems to have flown by even though we aren’t really doing very much around here. It’s almost like we’re in a modified state of hibernation. The bad thing about this is that it’s very easy to become “stagnate” and “boring.” It seems like all we do is eat, sleep, laundry, watch TV, read, surf the net, take walks, and go to Walmart. Oh and Terri’s been doing some crafts too. Hopefully we’ll be breaking out of this funk soon.
We did go out for lunch last Thursday with a couple, Robert and Becky, that we met here at the campground. They highly recommended Hook’s Barbeque in Troy.
Terri and I both got ribs, and they were delicious! The beans were really good too. Sorry, I forgot to take pictures of the food or our new friends Robert and Becky. They’ve been fulltimers since 2007. It was fun talking with them and getting to know them better.
It seems like there was something else, but I just can’t seem to remember…
