Deer Run RV Park
Troy, AL
Today is Terri’s birthday. Yesterday we stopped at a Redbox for the first time and rented the movie “Bridesmaids” that she’s really been wanting to see. We watched it last night and liked it so well that we watched it again this morning. We both laughed and laughed.
After we finished watching the movie we headed out for lunch. Terri chose Lee’s China Buffet in Ozark, AL. There’s also a Lee’s China Buffet in Troy, but some friends of ours recommended the Ozark location instead.
We both enjoyed the food, going back for more a few times.
On the way home we stopped at Wal-Mart and picked up a carrot cake to enjoy later in the evening while watching TV.
This new lifestyle makes birthdays so much easier. We both agree that it’s so much nicer not having to worry about gifts or cards. Life is so much more simple and enjoyable.
Happy Birthday Terri!
ReplyDeleteWere you able to blow out all 29 candles on your cake? :c)
Happy Birthday, Terri!!!!! : )
ReplyDeleteSo happy that you are enjoying full-timing.
Hugs,

ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Terri! Haven't seen Bridesmaids yet, think we will have to check it out. Your meal looked delicious and the cake too. Got to love the simpler life, hope to get there soon. Sure sounded like the perfect day.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the birthday celebration was a success!
ReplyDeleteI agree, simpler is better.
Happy Birthday, Terri...a day late! Glad to know you and Mike went to Lee's in Ozark (Mike & I found it had more choices than Lee's in Troy & the food was better, too). Miss your visits and Happy does most of all!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this blog...so cool but I haven't the faintest idea how one does this. I'm in Kindergarten online but Mike is illiterate!
Take care you two and have fun!
