6/28/11: S O L D ! ! !

Well, we closed on the house yesterday!!!

We're both VERY relieved and happy and excited and tired.

Both of us have been working very hard to get the house sold.  And now, we're free to move on to the next stage of our lives together.

I must say that it'll take a little getting used to the fact that we're now houseless.  Even though we both knew this was coming, it's hard to prepare for this until it happens.  We have no regrets.  Selling was the right thing to do.  We now have eliminated that anchor, and we're free to hit the road soon.

Terri has been very diligent in preparing the house for market:  keeping it clean and presentable, and making sure we were following through with the suggestions from our realtor.  Also, making sure I was doing the necessary things needed to reach our goal like cutting grass, clearing yard debris, and cleaning windows.

It has been a long and strenuous ordeal. However, we have been blessed with a rather quick sale.  Thanks to all of you for your prayers and support.

We have a few things to take care of, and then we'll take off on our new lifestyle journey.  Hopefully we'll hit the road in a couple of weeks or so.  And now it's time to celebrate!!!

  4. CELEBRATE is RIGHT!!!

You are free as birds to go and do
anything you want. And look how young you are. And so much smarter than those of us who waited and aren't really any more secure than we would have been had we been as smart as you are when we were that young.

    Way to Go!! CONGRATULATIONS!!
We'll drink a toast to you too.
Bailey's for me and Beer for Sometimes. :-)

  8. Congratulations!. That is great news! Selling the house and not having to worry about it anymore will feel strange at first. But you will get used to the freedom very quick, and it is awesome. Hope to see you both on the road soon.
